In memory of Late Shri S.Palanichamy Nadar, the SPJ Matriculation Hr. Sec. School is founded by the members of his family. By means of diligent efforts and determined hard work Shri S. Palanichamy Nadar rose to prominence. His family members founded Shri S. Palanichamy Nadar Educational Trust. The family is running highly successful business enterprises for the past 70 years. Their prosperous manufacturing concerns are several including production of SPJ Single Mould Bricks, and industry which provides employment to many labourers.

Having constructed the first Chimney in South India, this organization is proud to have pioneered in introducing the single mould bricks in Tamil Nadu. This organization is the first in the state to manufacture bricks of international standard through imported machineries.
